Peter and Leeza have been working together on events, projects and artworks whilst holding down 'day jobs' for over 20 years. During 2015 they took the plunge, left the corporate world and created Artisan Custom Framing & Gallery.
Leeza is a practising visual artist and is currently working primarily in copper, using wire and shim to create her works. She has a recent background in event management within Local Government specialising in large outdoor festivals and events. Prior to that she was curating exhibitions, writing, directing and producing for stage and short films.
Peter spent almost twenty years as a 'tradie' and is experienced working with lots of diverse materials and machinery and is particularly comfortable working within fine tolerances and where the quality of the finished article is paramount. He has a good eye for detail and is somewhat of a perfectionist. Peter also has robust business experience in Sales, Marketing and General Management, mostly within the ‘Business to Business’ Software arena.
Together they form a strong, customer focused partnership and simply can't help but help! With Leezas artistic expertise and Pete's hands on and business experience they can assist customers finding the right frame, mat and colours every time.
